His work for film and television spans a wide range of formats, from long-running drama (Silent Witness, BBC) to documentary series such as The Natural World and multiple BBC and other TV arts and science documentaries, as well as entertainment projects with artists including Derren Brown, Matt Lucas and Simon Pegg.
Alongside his screen and commercial work, Danny releases a body of instrumental music under his own name. Albums such as Flow States and Singing Through Others explore improvisation, collective intelligence and the relationship between composition, emergence and collaboration, often in partnership with the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Beyond music, Danny writes about creativity, process and the changing relationship between people, technology and culture. These explorations are reflected in Quiet Measures, a monthly Substack read by artists, filmmakers and creative practitioners, where he shares essays on attention, making, uncertainty and the often overlooked forces that shape creative work.
